Last Lap
Carly realized something was wrong when her car was missing. She opened her garage and her car wasn’t there. She panicked for minutes. She called OnStar sitting on her leather couch to ask them if they can track her car. Oddly enough, they tried telling her that it’s at her house but she informed them it clearly was not. The rude employee promptly hung up and went on with his life.
Carly still had no car and no way to find it. So she called all the people that could have used her car in the past 24 hours. She called her brother to see if he had used it. Josh, was upstate with a bunch of his friends playing basketball for a tournament. She called him and asked if had taken the car. He said he took the car to the grocery store because mom said she needed sugar for the cake we had yesterday, but when he returned they gave the key back to mom.
Carly hung the phone up and went straight to her mom. She asked her where she put the car keys. She said she put them back where she found them, on the kitchen countertop, under the blanket. Carly saw the blanket and looked under it but there were no keys under there. She told her mom and her mom was worried because that was the only place she knows of.
